8. HORSE RACES AT THE TRACK ON 2
Experience the thrill of Standardbred Horse Racing at The Track on 2, located just west of Lacombe, with free admission and parking, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Gates open one hour prior to post time, and the races typically span 3-4 hours. 9. BIRD STUDY AT KERRY WOOD NATURE CENTRE
Join the team at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre as they study the state of the birds in the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary as a part of their project with Environment and Climate Change Canada. This is a free event that is completely weather-dependent, and all are welcome. Parents and guardians are required to accompany children and pre-register by 4:30 pm on July 14.
