Getting to Canyon Ski Resort & Recreation

When you arrive at Canyon’s main Red Gate, you will see signage instructing you to take the immediate left fork toward the Adventure Park parking lot. Park and follow the signs to check in or purchase walk-up tickets.

Start your Adventure: The Net Park

For families with younger children, the Net Park is a must-visit. Designed for ages 3 to 103, this space features a three-story spiral slide and two trampoline nets spread across multiple levels. Safety is the number one priority, with secure netting allowing for carefree jumping and exploring for all ages.

Test your Limits: The Aerial Park

Begin your day by conquering the Aerial Park, a captivating three-level obstacle course that tests your agility and bravery! Standing 40 feet tall and featuring 36 diverse obstacles, the course is divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, ensuring a tailored challenge for every participant.

Must Try:

- Dual Headrush Free Fall Jump: Experience the thrill of a 40-foot leap with 3 meters of free fall!

Local Tip: This is a fun attraction to practice your “trust falls” and test your courage!

- Rock Climbing Belays: Try three routes designed for all skill levels.

Begin with ground-level training to get familiar with safety mechanisms before ascending through the levels.

Soar Through the Central Alberta Skies: Canyon Zipline

After navigating the Aerial Park, head to the Canyon Zipline for a breathtaking flight above the scenic Red Deer River valley. Spanning nearly 500 feet each way, this zipline allows you and a partner to race each other across the canyon. It’s the perfect way to experience the park from a whole new perspective.

Local Tip: For veteran Canyon skiers and snowboarders, see if you can spot which run this zipline overlooks while you’re soaring through the skies!

Looking to finish the Aerial Park adventure with something else? Or maybe your children don't meet the 75lbs requirement? Try out the Bungee Trampoline for a fun and exhilarating experience!

Capture your adventure with live-action photos and videos available for purchase- so you can relive the thrill and share the excitement with friends and family!

Local Tip: Make the most of your experience and ride the coaster more than once! On your first trip, get familiar with the brakes and speed. Then, on future trips, you’ll feel confident going faster, knowing exactly what to expect. See below for package options to enjoy multiple rides and get the best experience!

End the Fun with Summer Tubing
