Easter is upon us and now is the time to celebrate with family and friends. Here are just a few activities you can enjoy while celebrating this great holiday.
The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame and Museum
Children of all ages will have fun in the museum-wide hunt for goodies. Enjoy full museum access including playing the inter-actives, exploring feature exhibit titled ‘The Games We Play’ and they have pulled out fun additional games and crafts. There will be two separate egg hunts to suit your schedule one in the morning at 10:20 am and one in the evening at 6:20 pm, admission is $10.00 per family.
The Red Deer Library, Downtown Branch
Hop on down to the Red Deer Public Library downtown branch for some Easter fun!
Red Deer Golf and Country Club
On Sunday April 20 we will offer an Egg-stra Special Easter Brunch. Gather up the family and reserve today! The brunch will be served at 11:00 am followed by an egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny! Adults are $30 and children 12 and under $12.
April 20 & 21
Bring your baskets and enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride to their secret location where everyone will have 10 minutes to hunt for as many Easter Eggs as they can! After have a hot dog lunch around the outdoor fire pit! Or if you like a little more adventure Heritage Ranch is also having a Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt Friday, April 19 at 9:00 pm. 999 Easter eggs, one large chocolate bunny, and s’mores. The hunt begins at 9:00 pm, however the s’mores start at 8:30 pm so come early, bring your flashlight and of course your Easter basket, as the hunt is on. Tickets for both can be purchased by calling 403-347-4977 or email email@example.com. You can also purchase your tickets online so book early and make this an Easter egg hunt to remember.
The Kerry Wood Nature Centre
Come on down and enjoy a fun afternoon of activities, crafts, prizes and our famous nature egg hunts. The event is drop in and suggestion donation of $3.00 a person or $10.00 a family Call 403-346-2010 for egg hunt times or more information.
Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery
Hop on down to the MAG on Easter Monday for some bunny crafts and an Easter egg hunt! Free to attend; donations gratefully accepted.
