Experience the Winter Night Lights Sleigh Ride at Heritage Ranch*

This one is B.Y.O.B (bring your own blanket)! Every year, Heritage Ranch decorates their trails with over 40,000 glowing lights for their Winter Sleigh Rides. Conveniently located along Highway 2, it only takes about 12 minutes to get there from Downtown.  

Book ahead to secure your spot and they will take care of the rest, with hot chocolate included!  

A private sleigh ride for you and your sweetheart – trust us when we say that it is just as romantic as it sounds.  

Afterwards, head back to the hotel for a dip in the pool or maybe a night cap at the lounge, located on the main floor.

Go Ice Skating at Bower Ponds

Lace up those skates. It’s time to show off those on-ice skills down at the beautiful Bower Ponds ice rinks. This popular recreation area is easy to access and provides equipment rentals from 11 am – 7 pm, daily. Get there early for the best chance of having the rink all to yourself!  

Not much of a skater? If you packed your snow pants, head out to Canyon Ski Resort and experience their brand-new tube park*! No skill required. Tons of fun to be had.

Before you hit the road, set aside some time to stop for an amazing lunch. Specializing in authentic Neapolitan pizza, Famoso Pizzeria & Bar is the perfect spot to fuel up after twirling around on the ice.  

We highly recommend ending the meal with an Affogato dessert. The gelato will satisfy your sweet tooth, with the espresso giving you that extra boost of energy to make the drive home.
