Alberta Culture Days is taking place September 28th to the 30th! This annual three day event is Alberta’s largest celebration of arts, heritage, diversity, and community spirit! There are many free, family-friendly activities are happening in Red Deer throughout the weekend. Friday, September 28th Highlights

Welcome to Our World of Arts and Culture

Experience family friendly interactive and intergenerational visual, literary, and performing arts. 20 different artists will be celebrating and demonstrating their talents. This event will also be taking place on Saturday.

Central Alberta Theatre Presents: CATena!

Pop-Up Gallery Show & Sale

The Red Deer Arts Council and the Central Alberta Retired Teachers’ Association (CARTA) present a pop-up gallery show and sale of original artwork. Artist Jeanette Van Hyfte will present Create a Smile Card where you can prepare a beautiful card using techniques like acrylic links and stamps.

Cultural Showcase

Presented by the Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society and their member organizations, this Culture Showcase promotes different cultural performing artists and cultural displays.
