Jazz at the Lake is an annual three-part (spring, summer, fall) festival that brings in buttery smooth musicians like The Brothers Landreth, a Canadian band from Manitoba. This four-man band features a harmonica, slide guitar, drums and 27 years of musical diversity. You can see them at The Jazz at the Lake “Autumn Leaves” concert on September 23rd, 2016.

Jazz at the Lake brings cultural awareness, community togetherness and the beauty of musical melodies to the streets of Sylvan Lake. Jazz at the Lake has been around for over a decade and has brought in many amazing talents over the years.
This community run event, usually takes place at the Alliance Community Church in the heart of downtown Sylvan Lake. Here you will find soulful acoustics and a large dancing area to let your feet wander freely.
Past events have included some musical giants like The Honorable Thomas Banks, a Canadian pianist and former senator. Banks has played and conducted many different pieces of music in his lifetime. He has also won a Juno Award, a Gemini Award and is a member of the Edmonton Culture Hall of Fame.
Other past artists include: Johnny Summers, Donald Ray Johnson, Oliver Jones, Eddie Higgins and The Polyjesters. Tickets can be purchased online, or in town at the Trilliant Real Estate office. Tickets will also be available at the door if they are still available, however it’s strongly encouraged that you get tickets in advance to secure your seat.
