1. PBR RED DEER CLASSIC

The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) 2024 Canada Cup Series showcases Canada’s top cowboys and some of the top PBR international athletes as they battle the rankest bucking bulls. Its man vs. beast wrapped in the glitz and glamour that only the PBR can provide. Catch all the action from 7:00 – 11:00pm at the Peavey Mart Centrium at Westerner Park.

  1. Winter Bug Count at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre

Join Nature Alberta and the Kerry Wood Nature Centre to contribute to the Winter Bug Count. You don't need to be an expert at identifying bugs, you just need to have a sense of curiosity! Milder temperatures call for fresh air and time outdoors! Bring your furry friend to one of the City of Red Deer’s off leash dog parks. Three Mile Bend is a 55-hectare natural area located near the Red Deer River with various picnic areas and beautiful trails. Located on the south end of the city, the Oxbows off leash dog park offers an entrance staging area and diverse terrain with an agility feature.
