1. Get ready to “shamrock and shamroll” at Bo’s Bar and Stage March 17 for a traditional Saint Patrick’s Day celebration complete with Guinness draught, Jameson and Irish Folk Tunes. Also featuring live music by The Discmen in the evening. Find more information by clicking here.
2. Enjoy a family friendly Saint Patrick’s Day festivity in Capstone! Featuring a leprechaun themed photo booth, grab bags for kids and free hot chocolate, this is sure to be fun for the whole family. March 17th 10am – 4pm at Canada 150 Square. For more information click here.
3. Downtown's Ross Street Patio has emerged as a go-to spot for a series of winter events in recent weekends, featuring enchanting ice sculptures and the captivating Polar Glow. Don't miss the grand St. Patty's Finale on March 16th, where live bands will set the rhythm, and the promise of "the coldest brew in central Alberta" awaits. 4. Open late on both March 16 & 17, Red Hart Brewing will be pouring refreshing green beer in a fun atmosphere over the Saint Patrick’s Day weekend.
5. Saint Patrick’s Day Shindigs will happen all weekend at Chillabong’s Bar and Grill! Join Chillabong’s for a pipe band on March 16th and 17th, green beer, drink, and food specials.
6. Deck yourself out in green for a FREE Saint Patrick’s Day Family Day skate at Red Deer Polytechnic March 17, from 12pm – 1:30pm. There will be photo ops, family friendly green bevies and some sweets too! Free to all, Student Association Food Bank donations are requested. Click here for details.
7. The Red Deer & District Pipe Band will be performing at the Red Deer Resort & Casino at around 6:30pm March 17th alongside great eats like Irish Shephard's Pie and Irish Stew and green drinks! You can also enter to win a Guinness dartboard!
8. Raise a toast with emerald brews and indulge in authentic Irish bites at Cilantro and Chive this Saint Patrick's Day on March 17th!
