Welcome back Spring with a crystal extravaganza like no other at the Westerner Park Exhibition Hall. The Red Deer Rock N’ Gem Show is happening every day till Sunday. Then head over to the Quick Times Spring Swap Meet in the Parkland & Stockmen’s pavilion on Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, a great place to find those things you need from collectibles, antiques, automotive and more.

The 11th Annual Country Music Alberta Awards are happening at the Cambridge Red Deer Hotel & Conference Centre, with a weekend kickoff party Saturday night, the Red Carpet, Gala Dinner & Industry Awards, Sunday, and they are even bringing back the Fan Zone Tickets for the awards show. Check out all the details on their website and tickets to all the events can be purchased by going to Eventbrite.  

Head to Centennial Park in Sylvan Lake this Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for The Meltdown, a free celebration of spring and a goodbye to old man winter. Build a kite, try your luck at an escape room, get messy with colour bombs and so much more, brought to you by the Town of Sylvan Lake.

It’s the last weekend for you to take in Legally Blonde the Musical a fabulously fun award-winning musical happening at the Red Deer Polytechnic March 16-17. You can get tickets by going to the Red Deer Polytechnic ticket website, so come on down and support Lindsay Thurber High School in this musical extravaganza.

Red Hart Brewing is always bringing in great Talent and on March 18th Mike Edel- Can I Still Do this Tour is back with Medicine Hat’s Kyle Church, Tickets are limited. They will also be having live music and gourmet hot dogs on location Saturday March 19 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm to celebrate being open for 3 years, what a celebration. On Saturday Chillabong’s Bar & Grill is hosting a St Patrick’s Day Party with See Alice. So get out the green attire, your dancing shoes, and be ready to party.  

The Red Deer Rebels are back at the Westerner Park Centrium as they take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes. There are still tickets available, so make it a date and cheer on your favourite team. Tickets can be found online or purchased at the Tickets Alberta Box Office.  

Sawback Brewing & The Road the Stage presents The Congregation, a Rock N Roll Tent Revival happening this Saturday at Bo’s Bar and Stage. Tickets are on sale with Eventbrite and the doors open at 6:00 pm, show at 9:00 pm, don’t miss it.

Kerry Wood Nature Centre presents Forest Bathing this Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am a mindfulness practice involving immersion of the senses as we slow down and tune into the smells, textures, and sights of the Sanctuary. This is a drop-in event for ages 13 plus and the cost is $5.00 weather dependent.
