What makes you different, unique or stand out?
“We offer tours throughout Canada and the United States, one of the only motor coach companies offering this service in Central Alberta,” says Laura Budd - Office Manager/Owner of Frontier Bus Lines Ltd. “However, at this time due to the pandemic, it looks like most of our summer may have to be cancelled again for 2021.”
Under more favourable circumstances, Frontier Bus Lines would organize and run a schedule of adventure tours to various locations like casinos, concerts, dinner theatres and more. “Many people living in Central Alberta look forward to our specialty trips such as the Christmas Lights/Dinner Tours, Rosebud Dinner Theatre, Mystery Tours, Canadian Finals Rodeo, and Casino Trips,” Budd says. Why do you do what you do?
“We love to travel and particularly enjoy providing experiences to seniors, who may not have the opportunity to travel to these locations on their own,” says Budd. By providing alternate means of travel to those who may not drive or those who simply wish to be a passenger Frontier Bus Lines opens the door for people to experience travel on another level.
What can guests (local or visiting) expect to experience?
“We pride ourselves in a clean, well-maintained motor coach both for charter services and our tours,” says Budd. “We endeavour to provide a mix of sites to visit and entertainment to experience on our tours that meet various interests, so everyone gets to experiences something they love.”
With safety and health at top priority, Frontier Bus Lines has implemented an extreme clean commitment to keep customers and staff safe. You can expect to ride with confidence as they place special focus on disinfecting high touch points after each disembarking including entrance and door handrails, parcel rack handrails, seat armrests, seat belts, restroom surfaces, driver area surfaces. Each motor coach is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with a fogging system after each use, and hand sanitizer is readily available. Onboard air quality is optimized through their HVAC systems which include UV-C lighting proven to kill 99.9% of all pathogens, including the Coronavirus, and cabin air is completely exchanged with fresh outside air approximately every 10 minutes. “We consistently comply with guidance provided by local and federal health authorities,” assures Budd.
What is new or upcoming?
“We have a number of tours set up on our website for this summer including, Newfoundland, Churchill, Branson and Nashville, Victoria and the Rocky Mountaineer, Jasper seniors’ getaway,” states Budd. “At this time, we are not offering any day trips to theatres or casinos as they are closed due to the pandemic. Our 2021 schedule will be added online when we know the outcome of our abilities to travel this year.”
