11. GREEN DEER RIVER VALLEY CLEANUP

This incredible fall initiative gathers volunteers from the city to clean and protect our waterways, focusing on the Red Deer River and the surrounding river valley! Participants will clean up litter along their designated route for a few hours and then return to Kerry Wood Nature Centre to get a raffle ticket and enjoy refreshments. Volunteers are advised to wear appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, a hat, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and gloves.

12. HORSE RACES AT THE TRACK ON 2
