They are a walk-in art cafe where you can paint pottery, stoneware, canvas, paper, glass, wood, etc. You can walk-in, book a private party, take one of their classes or attend a special event. We interviewed Shelly Buckland, Owner of Paint of Interest in Red Deer.
1. Tell us about your company?
Paint of Interest is a Creative Painting Studio where customers can walk-in anytime and paint, they can book their own private party, or take part in one of our many classes.
2. What makes you different, unique, or stand out?
Helping our customers create beautiful works of art they are proud of on quality products is what sets us apart. Customers can paint on pottery, canvas, wood, glass and more. They can take classes that include resin, canvas, pottery, or they can book a private party where they can create anything we teach here! We also have a licensed café. We have over 20 specialty coffees and teas, pop and juice, as well as wine, coolers and beer.
3. Why do you do what you do?
For the love of creating beautiful art that we are proud of! We love creating here, and painting projects that we ourselves would be proud to display in our homes.
4. What can guests (local or visiting) expect to experience?
Customers can expect a bright open space that is both fun and relaxing, very helpful creative directors, an amazing selection of items to paint and of course a great selection of beverages.
5. What is new or upcoming?
We are always looking to expand our selection, and the next thing will be hand crafted clay. Look for clay to be in our studio this fall!
