Remembrance Day – Experience a ceremony of the past

Veterans Park

While we cannot gather together in person and indoors to pay tribute to the fallen and those who serve in our military today, by attending a Remembrance Day celebration.  We thought we would help you experience it in another way, by watching a ceremony from the short past.  Here’s a Remembrance Day ceremony from the old Red Deer Arena in 2016.

Watch here:

Also here’s a video story about the men and women who serve us and the importance of helping them with a support system for their family.  The story also aligns itself with the connection the Canadian military and the history of the Grey Cup.  This video shows when the Cup made its way to Red Deer in the 2017 Operation Tea Cup including a stop at the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame to raise awareness on our military.
