It’s the Christmas season, and in COVID-19, we see more and more activities modified or cancelled entirely. The need to stay active, to create and engage in some Christmas activity is essential. One way is to participate in the various Christmas workshops happening throughout the city of Red Deer. Always check with the organizers for updated information regarding these events.
Kerry Wood Nature Centre is getting crafty with workshops on everything from Candle Making, Kids ornaments, Winter Wonderland Paintings, and so much more.
Have you been down to Parkland Garden Centre? They offer various plants, gifts, and garden supplies for shopping pleasure, but they also provide Fall & Winter Workshops. Some of the beautiful workshops still available are Fresh Wreath Making and All-glow Table Centre Christmas Arrangements.
Brunch is never a bad idea, and now you can combine it with a Gnome Workshop, or maybe a beautiful Christmas Centrepiece put on by Stems Flowers and Café at Bo’s Bar and Stage; what a great experience.
Blue Grass Garden Centre is also doing a series of Porch Pot Planters, Grinch Tree and Christmas Gnomes workshops, not only fantastic Christmas gift ideas, but it will put you in the holiday spirit.
These are just a few of the many seminars happening this Christmas, so check out Tourism Red Deer’s events calendar, look online or design your own and make these workshops part of your Christmas Traditions.
