Great Chief Park boasts two baseball diamonds, two fastball diamonds, a combined soccer/football field, the Kiwanis Picnic Site, a 9-hole pitch n’ putt, horseshoe pits, and various support facilities and park amenities. The site contains trails that connect the park to the trail network and the Waskasoo Park system. Nestled alongside the Red Deer River, Setters Place at Great Chief Park is a four-season sports park and pavilion. Setters Place features a synthetic regulation-sized sports field lined for football and soccer, a 400m outdoor natural ice speed skating oval in winter that is constructed on top of the artificial turf, and a three-storey pavilion with team change rooms, gathering space, canteen and media/timekeeper area. Setters Place at Great Chief Park can be booked year-round.
