We are very fortunate to have 77 outdoor ice surfaces to use at our leisure, including boarded and snow banked rinks, three skating ponds, and even a 400-metre outdoor natural ice speed skating oval.

Either pack up your skates this holiday season or rent some at Bower Ponds recreation area. If you are looking for another great experience, try our 400-metre speed skating oval at Setters Place at Great Chief Park. If indoor skating is more your jam, then maybe check out our various indoor arenas for their drop-in skating.

Looking for a break from the rink, then you need to head to the hills and get the skis on at Canyon Ski Resort.  You don't need to head to the mountains for a day of skiing and snowboarding; try Canyon's Ski Resort with 80 acres of skiable terrain, 23 runs and six lifts. They also have a highspeed snow tube park with glow night tubing, rentals, rustic lodge, food court and take-out.
