D&A Gardens is having a Mother’s Day Breakfast. It will feature Eggs Benedict with Back Bacon and a side of hashbrowns. Treat yourself to their Mother's Day Mojito - Vanilla Black Current. Enter your mom's name into our draw for a Mother's Day Basket, and make sure to adopt a free flower baby for your Mother. Serving from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, pre-register or just drop in.
The PCN Fun Run is happening down at Capstone on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Head on down and cheer on the participants from 9:00am - 2:30 pm. While you are there check out Xplore Sport Day, which is an annual celebration of sport that offers Red Deerians of all ages opportunities to try out a variety of sports and recreation activities available in our city.
The All Things Pretty Spring Market is held at Westerner Park. This two-day market features a private soiree shopping event on Saturday, May 7 from 5:00-8:00 pm. Enjoy cocktails while listening to the best live music, all while having the first chance to shop local and handmade, tickets are still available. The fun continues on day two with the public market, pay at the door and hours are from Sunday 10:00 am- 4:00 pm.
Mothers Day Craft Show and Market is at Baymont by Wyndham on Saturday, May 7, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, and it's free admission. Join them for a unique shopping experience with an amazing lineup of vendors and shops.
Kerry Wood Nature Centre would like to invite you to Meet the Critter this Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Join an Interpreter to meet their Tiger Salamanders and learn all about this local amphibian. This is a drop-in event and a suggested donation of $3.00 a person or $10 a family would be preferred.
The Red Deer Summer Centrefest Society presents Mother's Day MiniFest! This is happening this Sunday, May 8 from 2:00-4:30pm at CTRL V & Carnival Cinemas parking lot. Come and enjoy Mini VR sessions run from 2:30 - 4:30 pm at CTRL V Red Deer, a performance by Flyin' Bob at 3 pm, Mother's Day Movie: The Blindside at 4 pm at Carnival Cinemas, mini circus world, bouncy house, face painting from Halia's Helium Events, and the Simple Spice food truck from 2-4 pm. Entry is by donation in support of the Centrefest Street Performer Festival.
