RED DEER CITY HALL LIGHTS

Stroll through City Hall Park to enjoy a beautiful display of lights and Christmas decorations. The lights are illuminated every day, from sunset to sunrise.

When: Every night through the holiday season
Where: 4914 48 Ave, Red Deer, AB T4N 3T3
Cost: FREE

LIGHT THE NIGHT ATTRACTION AT DISCOVERY WILDLIFE PARK

Light the Night at Discovery Wildlife Parkin Innisfail has more than 25km of light displays! The display takes about 20-25 minutes to drive through. At the end of the display, you can stop in at the giftshop for a hot beverage.

When: Every night until January 15, 2023
Where: 5400 42 Ave. Innisfail, AB T4G 1P9
Cost: $30 plus GST per vehicle

CAPSTONE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Check out the Christmas lights in Capstone. Grab a hot chocolate or coffee and stroll through Capstone and enjoy the season with festive light displays, decorative planters, and more.

When: December 1 - 24, 2022
Where: Canada 150 Square & Riverwalk
Cost: FREE

SYLVAN LAKE LIGHTS

Escape into the magic winter paradise of the Winter Village. With over 300,000 twinkling and dancing lights, the Winter Village which will glow nightly from December to March throughout the season. A glittery winter walk through the Winter Village is full of festive charm. Stop under an archway for the perfect twinkle light holiday photo.

When: December to March
Where: Pier at Lakeshore Drive and 50 Street
Cost: FREE

NEW EXHIBIT AT RED DEER MUSEUM + ART GALLERY

Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery is having an opening reception for the exhibit Landmarks: A Sense of Place, featuring the work of local artists Carol Lynn Gilchrist and Wendy Meeres. Artists will be in attendance.

When: Friday, December 2 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm

RED DEER REBELS GAME

Two chances to cheer on our Red Deer Rebels this weekend at the Peavey Mart Centrium. On Friday, the Red Deer Rebels play the Medicine Hat Tigers, and then again on Saturday, they play the Prince Albert Raiders.

When: Friday, December 2, and Saturday, December 3, 2022.  
Where: Peavey Mart Centrium, Westerner Park
Cost: $17-$27 per person

THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY CRAFT SHOW AND MARKET AT BAYMONT INN AND SUITES

There is an amazing line up of vendors providing all types of unique shopping experiences. New vendors are at every show, so no two shows are the same.

When: Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

PARKLAND GARDEN CENTRE CRAFT & MARKET SALE

Shop for beautiful Christmas gifts from local vendors and artisans.

When: Saturday, December 3 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm  
Where: Parkland is located 3 minutes East of 30th Avenue, Red Deer on Highway 11 East.
Cost: Admission is a food item for the Food Bank

BLUEGRASS NURSERY & SOD FARM CHRISTMAS MARKET

Check out over 35 unique local vendors in this magical Christmas greenhouse at Blue Grass Red Deer. Christmas markets featuring local makers and picture opportunities with Grinch and Santa. Every Sunday from November 6 to December 18.

When: Sunday, December 4 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm
