1. ALBERTA FOOD & BEVERAGE EXPO

Check out the Award-winning Alberta Food & Beverage Expo! Sample hundreds of drinks and the best food from Red Deer's top restaurants and local suppliers. It's this Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm (doors open at 4:00 pm). This 18+ event is not to be missed.

2. FAREWELL TO THE KINEX ARENA  

The City is hosting a farewell event for the Kinex Arena on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Skate through the ages as we host themed drop-in skating times with refreshments in the upper mezzanine. The refreshments are free and so are the memories!

3. RED DEER REBELS GAME

Get ready to cheer on our hometown team, the Red Deer Rebels, as they enter the playoffs! This weekend, on Friday, March 31st, and Saturday, April 1st, they will be facing off against the Calgary Hitman. After a hard-fought season, the Rebels are sure to put on an incredible show. Don't forget to show your support by wearing your Rebels gear and cheering them on!

4. RED DEER LIBRARY STORYTIME

Each month the Red Deer Library has a special storytime for all ages with special guests from the Red Deer community. Enjoy stories and crafts, and learn about what our guests do in our wonderful city! This month's special guest is Dr. Hayley Biederbeck, a veterinarian at Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital since 2010, treating furry family members great and small.

5. EASTER AT BOWER PLACE  

On Saturday, April 1, make sure to hop on over to get your Easter photos at Bower Place Shopping Centre. Also, that day they are hosting Bo's Bunny Trail Brunch. Don your ears and start hopping through this delicious experience where children can make-their-own bunny-themed pancakes, eat their greens, plant a seed at Bo’s garden, and visit Bo’s Bakery for a sweet treat. 6. SONGWRITER SHOWCASE AT RED HART BREWING

Don't miss out on the Songwriter Showcase at Red Hart Brewing! Join them on Sunday, April 2 at 7 pm to hear Jamie Adams, Stephen James Scott, Jess Dollimont, and Tyler Allen share their original songs and stories on one stage. Enjoy some great craft beer and live music in a cozy atmosphere with friends.

7. TUMBLEWEED MARKET & AFTER PARTY AT BO’S BAR AND STAGE
Looking for a fun way to spend your Sunday evening? Check the Tumbleweed Market and Afterparty with Boots & The Hoots at Bo's Bar and Stage. Presented by Good Gal Vintage, this event promises to be a blast. The market starts at 12 pm and runs until 4 pm. Then, from 5 pm to 7:30 pm, Boots & The Hoots will take the stage for an awesome performance you won't want to miss. Tickets for the show are only $15 (plus fees) and available for anyone 18 years and older

8. GASOLINE ALLEY FARMERS MARKET
