Green Deer is a Spring Cleanup Campaign that runs from March 21 to May 31, 2023. You can do your part to help keep our city clean by registering for the Spring Cleanup Campaign and picking up litter in your backyard, around your neighbourhood, or in a favourite green space. Parents and teachers can use the Green Deer Spring Cleanup Campaign as an opportunity to show children and teens that we are all responsible for our own actions, to foster a mindset of environmental stewardship, and to teach the safe handling and disposal of different types of waste.

Registration for the Spring Cleanup Campaign is free, fast, and easy. Everyone is encouraged to register so Green Deer organizers can distribute cleaning supplies, track the areas that have been cleaned, and recognize volunteer work. All registrants are automatically entered to win prizes!
3. EARTH DAY WITH BLUE GRASS GARDEN CENTRE
Celebrate Earth Day with Blue Grass Garden Centre. Get a free Collicutt Centre family pass with a minimum $50 purchase in store. For kids, there will be planting workshops held from 10am-4pm in the Garden Centre on Earth Day. These workshops are a fun and educational way for children to learn about the importance of plants and gardening. They will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty and plant their own seeds or seedlings to take home and watch grow. This Saturday, April 22, Blue Grass Nursery is also sponsoring a FREE family swim time at the Collicutt Centre from 12pm – 2pm. Celebrate the beauty of our planet and raise awareness about the need to preserve it for future generations!

4. EARTH DAY AT KERRY WOOD NATURE CENTRE
Celebrate Earth Day with Kerry Wood Nature Centre. They are hosting a crafting in the garden event with Earth Day themed games and a story, this program is the perfect way to introduce Earth-friendly ideas and actions to the little ones in your life.

6. PRIME STOCK THEATRE SOLO SHOW FESTIVAL
It's week 2 of Prime Stock Theatre's Solo Show Festival. It's a Double Bill with TWO one-act shows, The Commandment which is written & performed by Phil Rickaby, and directed by Richard Beaune. The second show is Searching for Marceau, which is written & performed by Trevor Copp and directed by Richard Beaune.

7. GASOLINE ALLEY FARMERS MARKET
Gasoline Alley Farmers' Market is a bustling indoor marketplace located in Red Deer County. 8. RED DEER MUSEUM + ART GALLERY: LONG LIVE EXHIBIT
Join the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery this Saturday, April 22 for the final day of the Red Deer Polytechnic Visual Art Student Exhibition, Long Live. Drop in and join a MAG staff member for a 2 pm tour. The exhibition, Long Live, consists of first and second year student work in media representational of what is taught in the Visual Art Program at Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP).

9. GOLFZONE

10. Alberta Sports Hall of Fame
Hurry on down to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, which is located along Highway 2. Interactive games, sports memorabilia, and all of the sport-related fun await you at this renowned facility! This year they are also introducing e-scooters, e-bikes, and electric Fat bikes for rent, a great time to explore the wonderful trails located behind the building.
