Find out what makes the Red Arrow Bus Lines a great choice in transportation. Red Arrow Bus Lines have provided an environmentally friendly travel alternative, connecting people and communities in Alberta, since 1979. Red Arrow provides unparalleled customer service in a comfortable travel environment with many of the luxuries of home.
Red Arrow History
Red Arrow's core ideal is safety, not only while travelling on the road but also in its commitment to keep the motorcoaches clean and sanitary. They are proud to be more than a transportation company, they have become a safe, friendly, and trustworthy company people have come to rely on to get them safely to their destinations and safely home every day. Red Arrow was founded by R.B. Colborne with a vision of elevating the perception of bus travel in Alberta, forming the luxury inter-city passenger coach service called Red Arrow on July 9, 1979. The business class coaches on the original Calgary-Edmonton-Fort McMurray Route were ahead of their time. Each bus offered single-row private seating, complimentary snacks, and refreshments.
What makes Red Arrow Unique?
The commitment to safety, comfort, and productivity. Safety is their first Core Value and is taken seriously on a personal level throughout the company. It is a declaration of our absolute commitment to safety in everything they do. Ultimately, it is about getting each one of their passengers back home safely. The coaches are filled with luxury amenities to make the experience enjoyable and comfortable. The onboard experience simply can’t be matched anywhere in Alberta, with reclining leather seats, fold-down tray tables, and the most legroom of any coach. Riders receive complimentary snacks and drinks, single-aisle seating, advanced seat selection, and onboard entertainment. With the growing awareness of climate change, it has become increasingly appreciated that Motorcoaches have a low carbon footprint when compared to cars, trains, or air travel. Red Arrow provides an environmentally friendly alternative by taking more cars out of the equation. Just one motorcoach takes up to 52 cars off the road, significantly reducing congestion. Furthermore, for every person who takes the bus instead of travelling alone in a vehicle, CO2 emissions are reduced by 85%.
