Kraay Family Farm is in the heart of Central Alberta and just a short 20-minute drive north of Red Deer. Find out what makes this attraction so fun and unique. We interviewed the Kraay family below:
1. Tell us about your company?
Our world famous corn maze, farm games, and over 40 attractions and amenities bring guests from near and far to our family farm every summer and fall. Kraay Family Farm is now welcoming guests for our 23rd year! Each year we look forward to seeing families and friends spend time together here at the farm, enjoying each other’s company and playing together.
Our farm has adventure around every corner, keeping families entertained all season long. With a 15 acre corn maze, named the largest QR code in the world in 2012 (Guinness Book of World Records), farmyard, giant jumping pillows, mini golf, adventure course, ziplines, gemstone mining & much much more added every year, the fun never stops at Kraay Family Farm.
2. What makes you different, unique, or stand out?
We’re really excited to share our farm with our guests. We truly enjoy seeing family and friends have fun learning and playing on the farm. That’s why we do this; we want to see people come back each year, enjoy their time, and get a taste of farm life. We are proud and happy in the role we play as a family entertainment destination and we hope to continue to bring uniquely fun experiences, rooted in agriculture. This farm has helped preserve the heritage of the small family farm and brought many guests over the years to the farm we love.
3. Why do you do what you do?
At Kraay Family Farm, memorable moments are always being made or revisited. Some come to see the smiles on their kids or grandkids’ faces, others come for the fresh air and games, and many guests come to experience the newest maze, even having tried every single one we’ve made in the past two decades! Regardless of the experiences, in the end, we hope it’s the memories and traditions that keep people coming back.

5. What is new or upcoming?
Every year we bring something new to the Farm for all to experience. From games and activities to our maze and farm animals.
New to the farm this year we have:
Singing Chicken Piano – Jump and dance along the keys while the animatronic chicken sings the notes you play.
Peacocks and Peahens – Our newest animals this year.
Straw Bale Climb – A new carnival game – can you make it to the top of the ladder?
An expanded Adventure Course with new obstacles!
This year’s maze theme is Mental Health Matters. Your mental health matters. So does the mental health of your loved ones, your neighbours, and your community. We want to encourage our guests to take care of themselves and those around them. There are many ways, big and small, that we can take care of each other and our community. We look forward to exploring this idea over the season here at the Kraay Family Farm. We know that some of the best ways to take care of ourselves is by taking time to be with those we love and to spend time outside and we would love to see you doing both of those things here at the Kraay Family Farm.
