Membership Spotlight | E-Bus Motorcoach
Ebus is a family-owned and Alberta-based company. They are a safe, comfortable, and cost-efficient way to travel in Alberta and now British Columbia as well. The friendly, dedicated drivers and hardworking customer service team, ensure customers reach their destinations in an efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly manner.
Customers can trust this inter-city motorcoach service to get them “Safely Home” every day. Also, E-bus motorcoaches themselves have become part of Canada’s energy solution by reducing the number of vehicles, and therefore, carbon emissions on the road.
The founder of Red Arrow Bus Lines, R.B. Colborne, saw promise in elevating the perception of bus travel in Alberta and launched the luxury inter-city passenger coach service on July 9, 1979. The business class coaches on the original Calgary-Edmonton-Fort McMurray Route were ahead of their time, offering single-row privacy seating, complimentary snacks, and refreshments. These were the first commercial coaches to have seatbelts and pay-per-use cellular phones.
The sister luxury coach line, E-bus, was launched first in Alberta in 2011 and then in BC in 2018. It now provides the same economical, efficient, safe, and environmentally friendlier transportation to Saskatchewan as well. Similar to Red Arrow, the coaches are full of luxury amenities to make the trip to your destination enjoyable and comfortable. These include complimentary Wi-Fi, power outlets, comfortable, reclining seats with ample leg room, seat belts, and a choice of seating arrangement. There is plenty of storage space and each passenger is allowed three free pieces of luggage plus a carry-on. The Safety Clean Program provides enhanced sanitizing and cleaning that passengers can trust.
This past year, Ebus has assisted displaced Ukrainians arriving in Canada, supported numerous local charities and re-upped our commitment to grow a sustainable people transportation company. E-bus specializes in coach service through Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, and Fort McMurray, as well as from Vancouver into the interior of British Columbia. As of August 20, 2022 there are now 4 daily departure times from both Calgary and Edmonton, increasing access to the International Airports. Locally, there are two Ebus stops in Red Deer, Alberta. One at the main bus stop in Downtown Red Deer at the Sorenson Station. The other is in North Red Deer at the Quality Inn and Conference Center just in front of the Quality Inn Lobby.
Another way E-bus differs from Red Arrow is in the larger range of routes it provides. Also, the routes go further, travelling into both BC and Saskatchewan. The fares are cost-effective and budget-friendly, and there is an even further discount on fares when customers book online.
Let the friendly, professionally trained drivers will expertly navigate the sometimes-daunting routes found in the mountainous regions of Alberta and British Columbia – so you don’t have to.
