2. REMEMBRANCE DAY TRIBUTE WITH RED DEER SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Join the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery for an unforgettable Remembrance Day event that combines the beauty of music, reflections from history, and the importance of never forgetting the lessons of the past. The exhibit, ‘Lost Liberties: The War Measures Act’ invites you to reflect and understand times of conflict. Special guests from the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra will perform a moving composition by French composer Olivier Messiaen, written while confined as a POW during WWII.

4. REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY AT THE SERVUS ARENA
On November 11th each year, Canadians stand in collective Remembrance of all who have who selflessly served our country in the military service. The Red Deer Legion will host a Remembrance Day Service starting at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the downtown Servus Arena.

5. WINE TASTING AT THE CRONQUIST HOUSE

6. FAMILY STROLL IN THE SANCTUARY
Join Kerry Wood Centre for a leisurely nature walk around the 1.0 km loop to check out the early signs of winter. Strollers and sleds are welcome, but please leave your furry family (pets) at home. This event is open to everyone. A suggested donation of $3 per person or $10 per family is appreciated, with cash preferred. This is a drop-in event, so no registration is necessary. Parents or guardians must accompany children and youth, and don't forget to dress appropriately for the weather.
