1. EASTER AT BOWER PLACE SHOPPING CENTRE

Capture your Easter memories with Bo the Bunny at Bower Place Shopping Centre. Whether you're looking to create a special keepsake for your family, or simply want to capture some cute photos of your kids with a friendly Easter bunny, this is a great opportunity to do so.

2. EASTER AT BLUE GRASS

Come and explore the local vendor market at Blue Grass during this Easter long weekend. Make sure to bring your kids along for some egg-citing activities during Easter weekend! Let them have a blast decorating their own eggs and planting them with catgrass, which they can take home and nurture as they watch them grow. Kids drop-in classes are available from April 7th to April 9th, 2023, between 10am and 3pm. No registration is required! You can also take photos with the Easter Bunny and participate in a fun scavenger hunt while perusing the local vendor market.

3. RED DEER REBELS GAME

Get ready to cheer on our hometown team, the Red Deer Rebels, as they battle it out in the playoffs! On Friday, April 7 they will be facing off against the Calgary Hitman. Don't forget to show your support by wearing your Rebels gear and cheering them on!

4. EASTER CHOCOLATE SPORTS BALL HUNT

Come and celebrate Easter with the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 8th, and enjoy a fun-filled morning! The building will open at 10 am with games and crafts in the lobby. At 10:30 the doors to the museum will open and the chocolate hunt will begin. The cost is $10 a family (2 adults and 2 kids). Be sure to bring a basket to collect your eggs in!

5. EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA AT KERRY WOOD NATURE CENTRE

Celebrate the occasion with Kerry Wood Nature Centre with games, crafts, Easter egg hunts, and exciting prizes to win. The perfect combination for a day filled with fun and joy. The event is open to everyone, and admission is free.

6. CHILDREN’S EASTER EGG SCAVENGER HUNT AT SUNNYBROOK FARM MUSEUM  

Sunnybrook Farm Museum is having another Easter Egg scavenger hunt on the museum grounds. Guests will be given a set of clues and will have to search the grounds and find all the bunny's stashes. They will each receive a bag of candy at the end. Admission is by cash donation. The main entrance for Sunnybrook Farm Museum is located at 2879 Botterill Crescent (the road between the Mission Thrift Store and the Sims Furniture Building). Free parking is available on the site and on the street.

7. EASTER EGG HUNT AT GASOLINE ALLEY FARMERS MARKET

Experience one of the best events of the year at Gasoline Alley Farmers market. This year will be the third annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Market! The Easter Bunny has been hiding eggs all around the market for you to find. Using the clues, follow the Easter Bunny's trail and find the eggs. Once you've found them all, you will win a prize! The event is free to participate in and prizes will be allocated until the Easter Bunny runs out and hops away for another year!

8. EASTER IN CAPSTONE

Capstone has organized an Easter event for a classic event with an eggciting twist! This Easter Egg Hunt and Eye Spy Challenge will have you searching the neighbourhood high and low for a coveted golden egg to win the special prize.

9. FLASHLIGHT EASTER EGG HUNT

Heritage Ranch is having a unique flashlight Easter egg hunt. Roast Marshmallows on arrival at 8:30 pm. Easter Eggs will be spread throughout an undisclosed location on the ranch. Two Large Chocolate Bunnies are hiding somewhere in the woods! First one to the Big Bunny Gets to take him home. Don't forget your flashlight.

10. SPRING TEA AT THE CRONQUIST HOUSE

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a delightful tea experience at the Cronquist House! They invite you to join them for their Spring Tea event, taking place on April 10th between 2 and 4 pm.
