1. Tell us about your company?
We are ideally situated on a major intersection of Gaetz Avenue and 67th Street, Parkland Mall is easily accessible from both rural and urban locations. We have also been in operation since November 1970, Parkland Mall has become a home for over 100 stores. In addition to current anchor stores Wal-Mart, The Keg, and Staples, Parkland Mall is pleased to host the largest GoodLife Fitness location in Alberta. We are also pleased to mention that Winners and Skechers are a part of the Parkland Mall Family.
2. What makes you different, unique, or stand out?
Parkland Mall has been a part of Red Deer since 1970. Last year Parkland Mall celebrated its 50-year anniversary. Constructed in 1970, it was Red Deer’s first large-scale shopping mall.
3. Why do you do what you do?
We strive to become the premier shopping destination in Central Alberta through our innovative approach to management, a spirit and dedication to what we do. Our priority is to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, as well as provide efficient and timely customer service to create an unmatched shopping experience for all who visit Parkland Mall.
4. What can guests (local or visiting) expect to experience?
While visiting our guests will recognize us as a caring team that is respectful, accessible, and strives to deliver exceptional customer service. Parkland Mall supports local businesses as well as is home for a variety of nationally known retailers. Craving Asian, Mexican, or American cuisine? We have it all covered. Visit one of our food court tenants and grab a meal of your choice. No matter if it is a cold or a really hot day, stop by Tim Hortons to grab your favorite drink and enjoy it in a cozy atmosphere of Parkland Mall. Are you a visitor looking for a souvenir, or some unique gift for your loved ones? It’s all right here at Parkland Mall. If you are here on a weekend, make sure to check out our year-round farmers market where you will find a selection of well-done handcrafted items and so much more. On the way out pop into our Photo Booth at Entrance 4 to take that perfect photo shot to keep this memory for years to come.
