1. Tell us about your hotel?
The Baymont by Wyndham Red Deer has been a staple in Red Deer since the late 1970s. Operating as the Red Deer Lodge until 2015 and then converting to the Baymont by Wyndham Hotel. This centrally located hotel offers 124 Guest Rooms ranging from Standard to Suite, including family suites with bunk beds that the kids love. Enjoy a free hot buffet breakfast for all guests, this is a wonderful getaway for all ages. With over 14 thousand square feet of meeting space, we can host any type of event from small boardroom-style meetings right up to large conferences with over 300 guests. The hotel offers a saltwater pool and hot tub and a 24-hour fitness centre.
2. What makes your hotel different, unique, or stand out?
Our hometown hospitality makes us 2nd to none. Every guest is made to feel welcomed and treated like family when here. Our indoor atrium filled with large tropical plants that have been growing for over 20 years surround our salt-water pool and create a feeling of being on a tropical vacation. We have rooms that open right out to the atrium which is always a huge draw for our guests.
3. Why do you do what you do?
We do what we do because our guests are our number one priority. We love seeing people return because they were treated well and enjoyed their time here with us.
4. What can guests (local or visiting) expect to experience?
Guests can expect to be minutes from everything. From the farmers market, walking trails, sporting events, and shopping.
