The Christmas season is upon us, and it's time for decorating, reconnecting, Christmas cards and yes, shopping, trying to find that perfect gift for those special people in our lives. The Winter Market put on by the Downtown Business Association will be happening this Thursday through Saturday, November 18 - 20, at the Imperial Block Building, 4919 - 49th Street. This market is a great way to explore the downtown and shop local and be a part of Red Deer Lights the Night.
Alberta Sports Hall of Fame has a series of free Holiday Markets every Saturday from November 20 to 11 December. Join us from 10 am - 4 pm and shop through a variety of local artisans and vendors.
Parkland Garden Centre has a weekly Holiday Craft and Market Sales every Saturday from 10 am - 4 pm until December 18. Admission is a Food Bank donation.
Be sure to stop by the Christmas Market in the Prairie Pavilion Tree room at the Festival of Trees at Westerner Park on December 20 & 21 and 26 & 28. You will find take-home crafts for the kids and a great selection of Christmas gifts, sweets and trinkets.
Just For You Christmas Craft Show and Market is happening at the Baymont on Saturday, November 20, from 11 am - 5 pm. Free ADMISSION --FREE GIFT CARD DRAWS --BASKET GIVEAWAYS - come and support these fantastic local vendors!! They will also be hosting a Christmas Holiday Craft Show and Market Saturday, December 11, from 10 am - 4 pm.
Kerry Wood Nature Centre hosts their annual Holiday Craft fair November 27 - 28 from 10 am - 5 pm. Local artisans handcraft all items for sale - including knitted and textile items, many different styles of jewelry, painting, pottery, resin-based items, books by a local author, kids and adult clothing and other accessories
All Things Pretty Holiday Market is excited to be offering their two-day market at the Parkland Pavilion in Westerner Park Saturday, November 27, from 5 pm - 8 pm and Sunday from 10 am - 4 pm. Tickets for Saturday must be pre-purchased through Eventbrite and are $12.20; Sunday's event is $4.00 payable at the door.
Bo's Miracle Winter Market runs every Sunday starting November 28 until December 19 from 11 am - 4 pm. Step into the Miracle Christmas Wonderland AT Bo's and sip Christmas cocktails while you shop at the 16 vendor booths located throughout the room. Venders change weekly, so we encourage you to make this your Sunday adventure.
Come on down to the Local Artist's Christmas Sale at the Pioneer Lodge just down from the summer Market @ Red Deer site and across the road from Heritage Square this Saturday, November 27, from 10 am - 4 pm. It will be featuring painting, clay glass, jewellery and fibre arts by prominent local artists, something for everyone.
Gasoline Alley Indoor Farmer Market will be decking the Halls with their Christmas Market happening December 17 to 23. They will have pop-up vendors, activities, and so much more. Stay tuned to their Facebook page for more updates and all the wonderful Chrismassy things in store, including Santa.
Lacombe's Under $100 Art Market part of the Light Up the Night Festival features original artwork and handcrafted artisan pieces. It will be happening from Thursday, November 25th to Saturday, November 27th at the Lacombe Memorial Centre.
Red Deer Made Christmas Market with 90 spectacular Artisans, makers and foodies offering you a "made with love" holiday shopping experience at the Parkland Pavilion in Westerner Park, December 11 & 12. Lacombe Winter Farmer's Market is happening from 9 am - 1 pm Friday, November 19, December 3, 10 and 17 at the Lacombe Memorial Centre. Make sure you stop by and pick up some locally made products.

Get your Christmas shopping done at the Laft Hus at the Annual Craft and Bake Sale on Saturday, November 27, 9 am - 4 pm, and Sunday, November 29, 12 pm to 4 pm. There is always lots of lefse, cookies, lovely handmade rosemalt items, baking supplies, embroidery, books, coffee mugs, a small selection of items from Norway, and more available for you to take home! Please make note that they are making appointments only for their 2021 craft and bake sale.
