Canada Day is just one week away, and things are a bit different this year. Tourism Red Deer has been tracking down fun events for July 1st. Canada Day, the day to celebrate and show our Canadian pride. In Red Deer, we can do this by going online to explore Canada’s different facets in the online company of our fellow Canadians from across the country.

The Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society will be hosting a Virtual Canada Day Celebration. Although we will miss the great food and activities, some incredible entertainment will be showcased online instead of the outdoor stage. They will be showing video clips highlighting our different organizations and wishing all of us a Happy Canada Day.

Along with that, Red Deer is proud to be part of the 2020 Canada Day Drumming Virtual Celebration, promoting diversity, multicultural harmony, peace and love. This event is taking place virtually in cities across Canada as we join simultaneous drumming at your local time.

The Downtown Red Deer Market will be happening Wednesday, July 1st make sure you come downtown to purchase all the fixings for that wonderful Canada Day barbecue in your backyard. If you don’t want to cook Heritage Ranch & Westlake Grill will be hosting the AB Craft U-Pick Beer & Brisket Fest to celebrate this Canada Day.
