The 5 Most Instagram-able Spots in Sylvan Lake

Sylvan Lake Lighthouse

It’s summertime, and you’re ready to show your Instagram followers all of the incredible memories you’ve made so far. But sometimes the perfect summertime snapshot is hard to find, we understand. We want to help you step up your Instagram game, so we put together a list of the top Instagram-able places at Sylvan Lake, no filter needed. Don’t forget to show us all the fun you’re having, using #SylvanLake!

Here’s a few of our friends who already visited our top Instagram stops.

1. The Big Moo Cow

Nothing screams summer like an ice cream selfie…especially when it’s with a cow. The Big Moo is an ice cream parlor that has this photo-ready friend waiting for his close up. Grab a scoop (or two) then snap a Sylvan Lake summer selfie with the Big Moo Cow.

2. The Lighthouse

Let’s be honest, lighthouses make pretty cool photos. But when you live in Alberta, they aren’t exactly the easiest thing to find. Thankfully, your photographic vision doesn’t have to suffer. We have a lighthouse right here at Sylvan Lake.

3. Sylvan Lake Farmers’ Market

We can’t think of a better way to spend a summer day than at a farmers’ market. We don’t mean to brag, but the Sylvan Lake Farmers’ Market is a pretty spectacular one! Enjoy the sunshine and variety of vendors, then snap a picture so your friends can join!

4. Sunset Over the Lake

Sunsets make every photo ten times more spectacular, especially when it’s a sunset over a lake.
Throw in an adorable dog and your Instagram game is officially #winning.

5. Splashing in the Lake

The most important part of any summer selfie is making sure you actually had fun while taking it! Spend a sunny day having fun in the cool waters of the lake, how you do it is totally up to you! Stand, swim, or sport, the choice is yours!

Have some other cool photos from your time at Sylvan Lake that aren’t on the list? Share them with us! We can’t wait to see what an amazing summer you’re having.
