One of the most fun and thrilling things to do in Alberta is the Red Deer Zipline at Canyon Ski Resort, promising an unforgettable adventure. Perfect for friends, families, and solo adventurers, the Canyon Ski Resort offers multiple summer attractions.

About the Canyon Adventure Park
Canyon Ski Resort is thrilled to welcome visitors back to the Canyon Adventure Park for another exciting summer season!
Originally launched in July 2024, this incredible aerial playground towers 40 feet high and offers a thrilling mix of challenges and fun for all ages. The Aerial Park features 36 obstacles spread across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, along with a rock-climbing wall and an adrenaline-pumping 40-foot free fall jump. The experience is set against the stunning natural backdrop of the Red Deer River valley, and it’s all topped off with a 990-foot Red Deer zipline that lets you soar above the treetops and take in the breathtaking views of Central Alberta.
Visitors who are looking for an even grander experience can take advantage of the Canyon Adventure Pass. With the pass, you will have access to the aerial and net park, as well as the summer tube slide (opens June 21) and the Alberta-famous Alpine Coaster.
The Aerial Park and Challenge
Adventure awaits at the stunning 40-foot Adventure Park, set against a backdrop of natural beauty. With 36 exciting obstacles spread across three skill levels — beginner, intermediate, and advanced — there’s a challenge for everyone.
Start your journey at the ground-level training course to get familiar with the safety mechanisms, then work your way up through the levels. Your ticket also includes the thrilling Dual Headrush Free Fall Jump, featuring a 40-foot leap with 3 meters of free fall, plus three rock climbing belays with routes suited for all skill levels.
Whether you’re an experienced thrill-seeker or new to adventure, Canyon Aerial Park offers an unforgettable experience. There, you can climb, conquer heights, test your skills, and make lasting memories in this breathtaking outdoor setting!
The Canyon Zipline
Get ready for an unforgettable thrill with the two-person Out and Back Red Deer Zipline at Canyon Aerial Park! Stretching nearly 1,000 feet high above the scenic Over Yon Der ski run, this zipline offers breathtaking views of the Canyon River valley below.
Ideal for adventurous duos, this zipline ride promises excitement both out and back. Feel the rush of adrenaline as you soar through the air, taking in the stunning natural beauty all around you. It’s an exhilarating experience you and your zipline partner won’t want to miss!
The Net Park
At the Canyon Ski Resort, fun knows no bounds for both kids and adults! Dive into a world of excitement with a range of activities designed for ages 3 and up. The park features three thrilling main structures, including a three-story spiral slide that promises endless fun and two bouncing trampoline nets spread across multiple levels.
Safety is their top priority, so you and your family can jump, explore, and play freely within the secure netting. Unlike the aerial park, there’s no need for waivers or harnesses here.
