The Red Deer Cultural Heritage Society has rescheduled the Canada Day fireworks for New Years Eve at 8:00 pm. The Cronquist House will be selling warm and delicious coffee, hot cocoa, apple cider and cookies!

CANYON SKI HILL
The Snow Tube Park at Canyon Ski Resort is so much fun, book your time on New Year’s Eve then it’s back home for dinner and a movie, the perfect evening. The park is located at the top of the hill complete with 6 groomed lanes. The New Year’s Eve hours are 12:45 pm and 3:00 pm and you can book your tickets online.

Central Alberta is a glow with beautiful light displays in and around Red Deer. It is an excellent time for your family and you to take in the various Holiday Light Tours to celebrate the New Year.
Skating at Bower Ponds is always a festive thing to do with its pretty lights and lovely scenery. If you don’t own any skates that’s okay as they have rentals and a selection of skating supplies. Be sure to warm up in the pavilion for a nice hot chocolate.
