The Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis takes place in over 60 different locations across Canada. Every walk is a fun-filled, family-friendly event with different route lengths. Help find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and walk to raise awareness! - Aspire’s Annual Push & Pace Fundraising Walk & Run
This walk takes place at the Mackenzie Trails Recreation Area from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This walk is a fully accessible event that the entire family can do together! There is also additional activities for kids, snacks, refreshments, and prizes to be won!

Sylvan Lake’s 8th annual Muscles in Motion for Muscular Dystrophy includes a kids 1km run, 8km trail walk/run and 4 km trail run and Fire Fighter Fitness Challenge. You will be challenged with natural terrain, hills, and enjoy some lakeside views. Come out for a day of fun and help raise funds for MD!

1 in 4 Canadians may be affected by liver disease. Help change the future for Canadians with liver disease by participating in the Stroll of Liver. The stroll will be a 1km run/walk at Bower Ponds so bring out the entire family and make a difference!

Take part in the 6th annual Aspire’s Annual Push & Pace Fundraising Walk & Run. This walk and run is for all ages and ability levels. The goal of the Push & Pace event is to raise funds for the Aspire Special Needs Resource Centre. Aspire is a charitable organization located in Red Deer that serves and supports over 350 children and families with special needs.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an international men’s march to raise awareness and end domestic violence. Funds raised from the walk go to supporting different programs and services offered at The Outreach Centre. Last year, over 200 men “walked the walk”, will you be one of them this year?

The high anticipated Mega Bounce Run is coming to Red Deer! Challenge yourself as you run 5 km through Piper Creek Park with a course featuring 10 inflatable obstacles. Run, jump, and bounce through this fun run no matter your running experience. Get ready to jump, slide and bounce for the Ronald McDonald House.

The Red Deer Roundup Run is an event for all ages and abilities where athletes will enjoy the precise organization and execution of a Blitz event, all with a laid back atmosphere. Choose your 5k, 10k, or 15k course and support of the Canadian Ski Patrol.

Get ready for this fun non-competitive event for kids aged 5 – 12. The Super Kids Triathlon is a non-timed safe introduction to multi-sport for youth taking place on the trails around the Abbey Centre and in the Junior Olympic pool.
