Start off the day with a delicious brunch buffet at Westlake Grill with the whole family then take a horse drawn carriage ride through the scenic trails. Book ahead of time to reserve your spot!
Bring Dad to downtown Red Deer for a game of Zombie Apocalypse tag. Zombies have infected Red Deer! You will need to use your brains and brain to come out of this alive. Make your way as fast as possible to various checkpoints in the city and try to collect the cure for the zombie disease!
Is your Dad a nature lover? Bring him to Meet the Critter at the Kerry Wood Nature Centre. Learn about tiger salamanders and great plains garter snakes then go for a hike through the Gaetz Lakes Sanctuary.
Head to Fort Normandeau with the whole family and participate in a session of family yoga. While you’re there, why not bring along a picnic and make it a day at the Fort?

Does your dad like beer? Troubled Monk Brewery is hosting their third annual charity run on June 16th with a 5k, 10k, or half marathon course. There will be a party after the run sure to be filled with delicious beer.
Challenge the competitive side in Dad by participating the Trillium Relay Race at Heritage Ranch. Go as a team and compete in a 1k, 4k, or 8k walk/run course and have a blast!
