Brunches & Lunches

The Canadian Danish Museum invites you to their Mother’s Day Lunch on Sunday, May 12 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.There will be a special Mother’s Day menu with Champagne, Viking Coffee & Desserts (all made in House) Mom will be so pleased you brought her. Reservations are strongly recommended so don’t delay and treat your mom to something special.

The Radisson Hotel is hosting a spectacular Mother’s Day Brunch in their elegant Winspear Ballroom on Sunday, May 12 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Call 403-357-1108 or email to reserve your spot.

Boulevard Restaurant (Holiday Inn South) will be hosting one of its largest buffets of the year from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Call 403-314-2583 or email for reservations, space is limited so book early.

Heritage Ranch is hosting Mother’s Day Brunch at the Westlake Grill. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Black Knight Inn will be holding their Mother’s Day Brunch in both the restaurant and ballroom from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. Come on down, make a reservation and have a Mother’s Day to remember.

The Baymont Inn & Suites will be having a Mother’s Day Brunch from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm, prices are: $24.95 for Adults $14.95 for kids and 10% off for seniors. It’s a great day to spoil mom so book early.

On May 11 and 12, you can treat your mom to High Tea at Stella Bean Sweets, the perfect Mother’s Day gift. The tickets are $76.00 for two people and include a private table decorated with antique tea cups. Each pair will receive three tiers of goodies (selection of sandwiches, scones and treats). The Cronquist Tea House will be hosting a Mother’s Day Tea on Saturday, May 11 with two sitting 12:00 – 2:00 pm and 2:30 – 4:00 pm. The cost is $18.00 and the seating is limited so book early by calling 403-346-0055 and treat your mom to something special.

Entertainment, Expos & Fun

On May 11 or 12 come on down to the Westerner Stockman’s Pavilion for the Carswell’s 30th Annual Red Deer’s Mother’s Day Antique and Vintage Show & Sale. As one of the Largest and longest running Antique & Collectors shows in Alberta, this is the show you don’t want to miss! There will be Vendors from across Canada, bringing a fantastic selection of Canadian, European, Vintage and Retro furniture and collectables. It’s a great opportunity to Step back in time and show your children or grand children what it was like, Back in the day! Rosco the Clown will be on hand to make complementary balloon animals for the children. Wheel chair accessible. Concession will be available. Admission: Adults $10.00 and children 14 and under are free, when accompanied by an adult.

It’s Mother’s Day weekend and a great time to join us! May 11, 2019 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm for The Lovely Spring Craft Show and Market! Held at the Baymont Inn and Suites – 4311 49th Ave (former Red Deer Lodge). Free admission, free kids craft and a gift for the first 100 adults to visit us!

Red Deer Symphony Orchestra presents La Dolce Vita on Saturday, May 11 at the Gaetz Memorial United Church 8pm. Imagine the sounds and sights of southern Italy with Canadian baroque cello superstar, Elinor Frey. Presented guests, Rosa Barocca, perform beautiful Italian baroque music on period instruments including Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Cellos in G Minor Featuring Rosa Barocca and Elinor Frey, Cello. This will be a great evening and a perfect time to take mom out. Tickets can be purchased at the Black Knight Ticket Centre.

Celebrate the Women in your life with a day filled with fitness, fun, and friendship at the Red Deer PCN Women’s Fun Run on Saturday, May 11 in support of the Mustard Seed School Lunch Program. An event for all the wonderful women in Central Alberta! Seven different events for all ages and abilities with lots of amazing draw prizes, finisher awards, family activities, Weber Health Wellness & Gift Expo, and a ton of FUN!
