Alberta Sports Hall of Fame will be hosting two-week summer camps for ages 6-12, with daily themed programming ranging from Healthy Active Living to All About art and everything in between. You can register for a day or go for the whole week.
For the artist in your life, Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery offer in-person camps for Kids and Teens this summer. The Kid camps are weeklong from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, and the teen camps run afternoons only; they can register for a whole week or just for the day.
Have you checked out the Waskasoo Environmental Education Society? They still have some space at their summer camps at both Kerry Wood Nature Centre and Fort Normandeau. From shutterbugs to wild things, these weeklong camps are so much fun.
Heritage Ranch has their weeklong half-day summer horse camps, and you can either do a four-hour in the morning or a two-hour afternoon.
Looking for a farm experience? Well, why not try The Jungle Farm summer program options for youth and the young at heart. They have everything from a garden tour that includes a wagon ride and access to their back play area, jam, and pie-making.
