Head down to Lacombe‘s Light Up The Night happening November 26-29. This year there will be several new surprises from an Under $100 Art Market, a Tim Hortons Santa Clause Reverse Parade, and so much more. Check out their website for details and updates, and enjoy a festive, fun weekend.

If you are looking at going shopping and don’t want to leave the house, Lacombe Regional Tourism has joined with the Bentleys Farmer Market to make a month-long online Christmas Craft & Gift Market. The Market is a great chance to support our local artisans and be COVID Safe at the same time.

Santa Claus is coming to Sylvan Lake for a North Pole Drive-thru Saturday, November 28, at the Library parking lot. Your $20 ticket includes a drive-thru experience for one carload and one pose for a professional photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Although all the spots are filled, a waitlist is available. Don’t forget to bring your Letters to Santa! Friends from the Yuletide Festival will be on-site collecting donations for the Sylvan Lake Community Food Bank, too.

If you are looking for a Christmas Tree, try checking out Fischer’s Family Christmas Tree Lot downtown on the Ross Street Patio every day from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Then wander into some of the local shops to do a little shopping, and just maybe, you might find The Christmas Pickle part of the North Pole Stroll.

The Scott Block Theatre Winter Market is the first indoor winter market hosted by the Downtown Business Association for Red Deer Lights the Night. This event is an Alberta Farmers’ Market Association approved market that will feature local vendors from Alberta. They will also feature a Red Deer Arts Council member artist each day. The times and dates for the market are Thursday & Friday, November 26 – 27, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Saturday, November 28, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Just For You Christmas Craft Show and Market at the Baymont Inns and Suites Saturday, November 28, from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm. There will be all types of unique shopping, and at every show, they invite new vendors; no two shows are the same.

Come down to Heritage Ranch for their Winter Night Light Friends and Family Package. Enjoy a 30-minute Private horse-drawn Sleigh Ride complete with Hot Chocolate as you ride through their beautiful display of Christmas lights. Afterwards, you will be treated to a unique 3 Course Dining experience; kids’ options also available.
