Let’s face it, when the mercury plunges and nature wraps itself in a thick, snowy blanket, there is some temptation to stay inside and slip into hibernation mode. Exercising outside is easy and enjoyable thanks to an extensive paved trail system that is beloved by joggers and walkers, much of which is cleared of snow in the winter. Outdoor gym facilities are located at various places along the trail system along with benches, playgrounds and picnic areas.

Most trails are accessible 24 hours a day. River Bend hours are 9:00 am – 9:00 pm in the winter.
