This beautiful stocked trout pond in the City of Red Deer is accessible only by foot, a short 10-15 minute walk from Heritage Ranch. This pond has everything to make a family outing enjoyable. Surrounding the pond are vast areas of grass for the kids to play on. There is a small playground, a day use picnic shelter, and public washrooms and all are accessible within 100 ft of the pond. Fishing at Mitchell Pond is permitted. However all Alberta province wide regulations involving sportfishing must be adhered to.
