Join the Métis Nation of Alberta – Local 492, the association canadienne-française de l’alberta (ACFA), régionale de Red Deer, and the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery (MAG) for St. Jean Baptiste Day on Sunday, June 24, 2018 with a Family Picnic from 11 am – 2 pm in celebration of Métis & French culture.
Settle into the green space surrounding the Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery and enjoy a picnic with family and friends in the beautiful spring weather. Bring your own picnic basket, or purchase something to snack on onsite!
The MAG will be providing guided tours of The Writing on the Wall: Works of Dr. Joane Cardinal-Schubert, RCA beginning at 1 pm. Join us for a slice of cake in our Stewart Discovery Studio after the tours wrap up!
