The Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter is back at it again with their Shelter Ribfest on August 27th thru to August 29th at the Westerner Parks NW parking lot only this year it’s a drive-thru event. Four of the best rib trucks from across Canada will be cooking up some of the best mouth-watering barbecued smoked ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, brisket you’ve ever had and much more! You will also be able to enjoy cold refreshments, fresh-cut fries and don’t forget the mini donuts! Admission is free or by donation. Proceeds raised in support of the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter. Plus don’t forget to buy your 50/50 tickets each day on-site and on-line for your chance to win one of the 6 draws that are happening. The draws will be made at the end of each night and the winning tickets will be posted on line. Make sure you come back daily to enter. Event hours are Friday and Saturday 11am – 9pm and Sunday 11am – 7 pm. For Friday ONLY get $3.00 off a Full Rack of rib dinner. Don’t miss it. Tell your friends!
