The Red Deer Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is a community event and fundraiser in support of persons affected by neuromuscular disorders. Admission is completely free. Walk event activities include: 1km walk around McKenzie Trails, free BBQ cooked by the Red Deer Fire Department, outdoor games, impact presentations, live music, kid’s activities, face painting, 50/50, and a silent auction featuring prizes from local businesses. Funding from this special event is used to provide essential medical and mobility devices to individuals with MD, and to further groundbreaking research in pursuit of a cure.
