Over a dozen community groups help coordinate Red Deer Culture Days events and they are excited to put on this year’s event, happening all over town and all weekend long! From concerts and pop-up art galleries, to market festivals and barn raisings, the many teams have been working hard to organize a great weekend of fun for everyone!

Visit our diverse spaces where our immigrant artists will be found in every corner of Red Deer, sharing their artistic talents at several local businesses around town.
-Ahad Armin, a wonderful musician from Iran will be playing traditional folk music on the tambour, at Chronicles Café on September 28th from1pm – 2pm.
-Hassan Tahir from Iraq will be playing classical music on the lute at Sunworks from 11.30am – 1pm on September 28th
-Elena Rousseau from Romania will be reading her poetry at the Red Deer Public Library, downtown from 2pm – 3pm
Film presentations by Motion Picture Arts at the Welikoklad Event Centre, 4922 49 Street, 1pm – 3pm
Selected Works from the Red Deer College Permanent Art Collection – Welikoklad Event Centre, 1 – 3pm
