The Alberta Sports all of fame is excited to announce that we are partnering up with Tourism Red Deer to host Red Deer Olympian Rebecca Smith for a meet and greet Wednesday August 25 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Rebecca was a part of Team Canada's first Olympic medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics! She competed in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay swim team with her partners Kayla Sanchez, Maggie Mac Neil, Taylor Ruck, and Penny Oleksiak.
Rebecca was once a member of the Red Deer Catalina Swim Club, where she dominated in the pool. Her talents, ambition, and dream to one day compete in the Olympics lead her to Toronto to compete at the High-Performance Centre making her one step closer to becoming a member of Team Canada.
At 21 years old, her climb to Olympic opportunity came in Tokyo, and as the world watched, Rebecca and her relay team started the Canadian medal count with a Silver!
