2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots that occurred in New York City in 1969. Central Alberta Pride Society commemorates this important time in LGBTQ+ history with an educational event in partnership with the Golden Circle Senior Resource Centre.

Lead by thought provoking speakers, this event explores the history of the LGBTQ+ rights movement, the legacy of the Stonewall Riots, and the struggles that still exist today. Join us for coffee, cookies and an evening of fun and learning as we celebrate PRIDE.

Come and be wowed by local drag queens as they get us into the spirit of the night.

Speakers include Spencer Belanger and Evan Anderson.

This event is free to attend. Guest of all ages and abilities are welcome!
