Flatiron Museum and Interpretive Centre

Discover Lacombe’s heritage at the Flatiron Museum and Interpretive Centre where you can see exhibits and displays that illustrate significant aspects of the history of Lacombe. The Flatiron building was built in 1904 and originally served at the Merchants Bank of Canada until 1922.

Michener House

Saturdays: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Built in 1894, Michener House is the oldest surviving home in Lacombe. Visitors can tour the home and learn how to drop spindle while listening to old records. The Museum offers free guided tours of the historic home.

With a beautiful downtown core you won’t want to pass up the opportunity to visit Cilantro and Chive. This restaurant has 135 different craft beers in their fridge and was honoured as restaurant of the year at the 2018 Alberta Beer Awards. They also carry a large selection of local spirits on their extensive cocktail menu.
