Downtown Ghost Hunt

Scattered around downtown Red Deer are dozens of bronze statues of the city’s most famous citizens, and one infamous (and totally adorable) pig. You can take a walking tour of the ghosts, as locals call them, to learn all about Red Deer’s trailblazing history.

The Aurasma app allows you to bring the ghosts to life on your smartphone! Scan the interpretive signs to watch short videos in which ghostly actors tell the statue’s history.
