If you are planning your trip in the summer there are many different activities to partake in. The lake’s surface is normally ready for skating (and magical memory making) around mid-December (whether dependent). There is also a wonderful array of events that take place throughout the cooler months in town. Some events that will be taking place over the winter include: the Yuletide Festival which happens near the end of November as well as the Santa Clause Parade. If you are in Sylvan Lake around February, head out to the Winter Festival.
End an amazing winter day by heading over to one of the steam and spa rooms located in Sylvan Lake. No matter the season, there’s lots to discover in Sylvan Lake and Cedarpark Cottage’s relaxing accommodations are a wonderful starting point for a great Alberta vacation.
