Tourism Week – Tourism Red Deer’s Arts, Culture & Heritage Experience

Central Alberta has been instrumental in showcasing and hosting the works from artists, talented musicians, performers, dancers and actors alike! Rich in arts, culture and heritage, this region has so much to offer locals and visitors.

From the sweet sounds of jazz at a restaurant, to the rock steady beats heard on stage, to the story-telling sounds of an orchestra or marching band, the music scene and the venues hosting them here at Tourism Red Deer are well know in the industry.

We also are surrounded by some multi-talented artists, whether it’s paint, photography, drawings, many can be seen at a number of our art galleries.  And we can’t forget the amazing theatre, and performance artists who provide audiences with fantastic entertainment.

Red Deer and our partnering communities have an abundance of cultural and heritage experiences to chose from.  If it’s a trip back in time to visit some of our historical landmarks or it’s appreciating preserved artifacts and the stories they tell at a museum, or if it’s celebrating the diverse cultures that surround our communities, central Alberta has the experiences you need to explore!
