1. Agri-Trade is at Westerner Park this week from November 9 to November 11, 2022. The trade show hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. More than 325,000 square feet of the very best in agriculture equipment, technology, service, and product. Agri-Trade Equipment Expo attracts annually over 30,000 qualified Agriculture Buyers and over 475 equipment manufacturers and agricultural services to Red Deer. Agri-Trade is considered one of the best agricultural equipment shows in Canada generating an estimated $300,000,000 annually in equipment sales and tourism spending. 2. The Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery is hosting a tribute event for Remembrance Day called “Honouring 50 Years, Remembrance Day at the MAG.” Join them Friday, November 11, from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Remembrance Day for mini-tours of Red Deer in the War Years (part of our Remarkable Red Deer exhibit) and have a look at some of our military artifacts. A Remembrance Day art activity and snacks will be set up in their studio. It is free to attend, and all are welcome. Click here for all the details.

3. Canyon Ski Hill opens this weekend. Canyon Ski Resort is Alberta’s Largest Non-Mountain family ski area! With 80 acres of skiable terrain, 23 runs, and 6 lifts, Canyon is the best thing to do in Red Deer in the winter! Friday, November 11 they are open 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Saturday and Sunday they are open 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

4. Prime Stock Presents "Games of Love and Chance" on Friday, November 11 at 7:00 pm at Prime Stock Theatre. Love must conquer clever disguises in this delightful comic masterpiece. The Games of Love and Chance was originally written by Pierre de Marivaux at the height of opulence and extravagance during the reign of Louis XV in France. This playful and witty comedy has been newly translated and adapted by Artistic Director, Richard Beaune and this is it's world premiere! Indulge in an evening (or afternoon) of love, laughter and decadent silliness as Red Deer's only professional theatre company brings this sumptuous story of love and deception to life on stage. This weekend's performances are Friday, November 11, Saturday, November 12, and Sunday, November 13 at 7:00 pm, and 2:00 pm matinees on Saturdays. Click here for more details.  

5. Parkland Garden Centre is having a Craft and Market Sale on Saturday, November 12 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Music, local artisans, local vendors, and more. For more information, click here.

6. Bo’s Bar and Stage has entertainment on Friday, November 11, 2022. Five Alarm Funk with Apollo Suns is performing, doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. Click here for more information.  

7. Christmas Market at Blue Grass Nursery & Sod Farm is on Sunday, November 12 from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Join them and local makers throughout the season every Sunday until December 18, 2022. They have a wide selection of unique vendors that have been working so hard over the past months to bring you the best in local art, photography, crafts, and food and drink.
